Thai Night Pearl
Now, this a mysterious rock. We bought it in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. After researching, we discovered it goes by a lot of names: Night Pearl, Sea Ghost Stone, Sacred Buddha Stone, Mook Ratri and even Glowing Jade. It is used for making holy pendants, carved or raw like this one and is being mentioned in 2500 year old scriptures.
The Night Pearl looks very plain, but it has a surprise up its sleeve. It’s fluorescent. It lights up very clearly and keeps radiating light for a long time. It is quite magical.
To give this plain looking rock the attention that it deserves we put on a handmade, brass stand under a dome.
